Katsuna's birthday

Or, more precisely, her "found" day.

Two years ago, on October 28th, my kitty Katsunalupa came to my life. So on Friday we'll have a party for her. Everyone's invited! (Bring gifts). Formal dress not required, save for tuxedo cats. We'll have fun and games, like hairball-hacking contests and "shred that curtain".

That sounds like fun! When Squeak reached the venerable age of 15, we held a birthday party for her. Her many human admirers brought presents and ate cake and raised toasts in her honor. Small and fussy, she hated other cats and was convinced that she was a person. (She died this last February after a short illness, at the age of 17.)
