Despite an overwhelming lack of sleep- this weekend was good. Adam, I meant to call you- sorry I suck at life....it happens....however I did get a new phone, so I really have no excuse. Hehe...
The dynamics of Bryan and I at home are so different then at school. It's ironic because this summer I only longed to be back at school, and now I enjoy the random weekends at home more then the weeks here at school. I guess the quality of time spent is just better. The behavior changes like the climate as we we make the journey. The closer to Cincy we get, the better things are; then on the way back it's opposite. No we don't fight or anything, it's just the openness, it's something.....
However...Wednesday was good. We kinda got a late start as the last entry infers, we didn't leave until after eating Arby's and running a few other places. I dropped him off, Barb (his mother) wanted me to stay for a cup of tea...hehe...but I needed to get home and wanted to avoid the traffic...Kari was there. I saw her later that night...for like 3 or 4 hours, and that was it for the whole weekend. We went up to the new building. I was completely amazed. I can still invision how it looked before and it's shocking how beautiful it looks. I was really excited to get to show Bryan around later in the weekend. It's like the church just means so much to me in my walk- I thought it was cool.
Thursday- gooble, gooble. I only ate like one plate of food. Shocking.... I went with the Spitler's. I was a little bit nervous- and going to Granny's the boys got confused, and then I got confused and we got off the wrong exit and it was almost almost ugly. I was on edge then thinking Bryan would be mad or whatever- but once we got back on track, it was all good....sweet relief. We hung around the house, ate food, watched movies, whatever- typical thanksgiving stuff. Bry and I went to Cindy's house for movies- we all went to see Christmas with the Kranks....not bad, not good. Then I got to listen to Bryan and Cindy play Donkey Konga forever. I ended up crashing at Bry's....'cause I was too tired to drive home, plus I had to be back there early the next morning to pick him up for 24-God.....
On to that. Low turnout of kids- but I think the weekend was amazing anyway. It was different- more relaxed, more comfortable, more home then the ones down here. I liked that. Quaint. I really got closer to some of the girls- which was good. I really have a heart for one family in particular- always have- trying to think of more ways to get in the door there...so complicated. Overall I think the weekend was really good- I'm excited to see how much comes out of the event- to see how it grows, what's going to happen next year.
I got to see Tony too this weekend! Woo Hoo! They went to see Napleon Dynamite- I didn't go 'cause Bryan said he wasn't going to go- so I went home....But they did- PUNKS! its okay though 'cause I was asleep by like 11 anyway.....I was soooo tired by Saturday- I had only slept like 8 hours the two nights prior. Okay, so that's about it....I'm sure there was more...but I'm tired....I know it wasn't interesting- but Tony said I had to update- so I did....hopefully that will sufice...
