Dr. Pinkola Estés has a fair amount of material out there. You can probably find some of her books at Amazon.com. I really liked her 'Women Who Run With The Wolves'. And great links. :)

Some of those are amazing to read.

We went to the Pride Parade in West Hollywood yesterday and there was one sign that made me burst into tears right there. It was a group marching for an Asian LGBT support group, and in the middle was this little old Asian lady with a sign that said "Proud Straight Christian Mother of a Gay Kid". It's one thing to be supportive and proud of your child, but another thing entirely to take a sign and march down the middle of a huge city, practically glowing with love. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

I'm glad Dr. Pinkola Estes is still out there doing her thing. Her book Women Who Run With the Wolves has been a fixture of my bookshelf since college, when a mentor gave me a copy.
