--The first question would be whether Gin would know about HxH. (Or if you've read/watched it as well. It doesn't seem to be as well-known as the other Jump series, so if you think he wouldn't know it, then ignore this. :D)

Anything you want him to keep quiet about?: I've taken Kurapika from two years after what's actually available in terms of canon knowledge, so there's not really anything that would be off-limits. Kurapika is partnered to Kuroro, however, so in this case you have a protagonist hitched to one of the main villains in the series--and the one person he should hate the most, for that matter. What they have between them now is only possible after those two years of head canon development, and more than 3 months in SC, so it's very likely that Gintoki isn't going to like it. I wasn't able to give the last Gintoki satisfactory CR because Kurapika

Gin knows about it (He talked about the next volume of "Hunger x Hunger" in one of the eps lol), but... I don't. :'D I'll see what I can do about it though. I've heard it's good. |D

Lol. The manga is perpetually on hiatus. It's a notorious pattern by now--Togashi will update with about a dozen chapters or so and then stop for a long period of time, like, for months, or even up to a year. I've given up hope of ever seeing the end of it.

Can Gin fanboy you?: I doubt if Gintoki would want to since Kuroro is a villain...

Anything you want him to keep quiet about?: There are other members of the Geneiryodan in the city, and no one knows that they are related in any way to Kuroro except for Kurapika and China and Killua, and we've worked hard to keep it that way. XD I'd appreciate it if Gintoki could keep mum about it, however ICly possible it is?
So what's free game, so to speak?: Anything else! All my other characters (Spirit, Mifune, Germany and Watson) are also free game.
