Thank you, sister! Twilight is terrible and I'm convinced that half the people that love it simply went "Hot Vampire! Squee!" and proceeded to completely ignore plot, character development, etc. The characters really just aren't that interesting and the series is anything but originial (which is sad because you'd think when you were mooching off of decent works of literature you'd think you'd be able to pick up on what made them decent as well).

I'm sorry, but if you're looking for something fresh and a bit more original try the Den of Shadows series by Atwater-Rhodes. (Which, thank you for introducing me to, btw.)

And the movie.... the movie looks even worse.

(For the record, I haven't "read" it either)
