Update:

His lungs felt like bursting. Breathing had become difficult and he didn’t know how long he would be able to keep this up.
He couldn’t run anymore, but he didn’t know what would await him if he slowed down. He didn’t want to find out so he kept running past his limits.

It had been his luck to step on the streets after work and spot a group of six guys on the other side. Hadn’t he frozen and unconsciously stared at them in shock, they might hadn’t even remembered him. But when their curious expressions turned into recognition, Kame just turned around on his heels and started running.

He could defend himself against two, three with luck, but not six. Especially not when four hadn’t managed to scare them away. At night, in these corners of Tokyo he couldn’t count on the help of passerbys, so much Kame already knew.

He could hear his followers behind him.
They were close.

Kame knew he had to call for help, but he couldn’t afford to slow down even a bit right now. And after ten minutes of running he didn’t know where he was anymore. It wouldn’t help him to call Jin without the slightest idea where to lead him to. He had to keep running until he reached a familiar place.

Kame scanned his surroundings in high speed. He couldn’t afford to run into a dead end either. However hard he tried, he steadily slowed down anyway. He was at his limits.

Suddenly he felt a hand on his arm, grabbing him.

“Gotcha.” The sudden change of speed made him spin around and stumble against the wall of the alley.
He hit the floor quite un-ceremonially, panting heavily.

“Shit.” He cursed as the six lined up around him.
“Well, if this isn’t Akanishi’s cute little friend. What a pleasant surprise.” One of them crouched down in front of him with a teasing expression. “I wonder why he isn’t guarding you properly?”

“Maybe because I’m not that important to him.” Kame tried to make himself uninteresting in the others’ eyes, hoping instantly that it was a lie.

“I heard Akanishi considers everyone of his companions as important. He’s kind of a possessive mother to them.” They chuckled.

“Maybe you just don’t know him.” Kame spat back. “And I don’t belong to his circle. We barely met.”

Kame was grabbed again and forcefully lifted up. His talks had been useless as his arms were twisted and tied together behind his back. Someone whispered into his ear. “We’ll see.” Kame shivered.

When a fabric was added over his eyes he started to panic. But it didn’t help him in any way as he was shoved around, loosing all senses of orientation.
He didn’t know how long they walked, or stumbled in Kame’s case, until he was pushed into a car.
To say Kame was scared was an understatement. Right now he regretted nothing more than to not had tried to call Jin when he still had the chance to.

He didn’t want to listen to the guys around him, chatting happily and laughing about their luck in finding him to get back at Jin.

He slowly started to wonder what they had planned to do with him. Most likely it was not for demanding ransom. He would be either used to threaten Jin to surrender to them and maybe get killed, or they would just kill him as revenge. Both options were something he literally couldn’t live with.
He again had to try to convince them he wouldn’t be useful.

Before Kame could say something, the vehicle came to a halt and he was pulled out of the car.
After more shoving and stumbling, Kame was pushed onto a cold floor.
One of the guys removed the cloth from his eyes. Blinking at the sudden brightness he found himself in a big, cold warehouse, sparsely furnished.

The way the guys looked at him, all amused, annoyed Kame.
“Look, I really don’t know what you’re trying to achieve with this. You got the wrong guy to threaten Akanishi! I just had the bad luck to run into him without knowing who he was.”

One of the guys approached Kame. “We’ll ask him if he’s interested in helping you out.” The guy bent down, fishing Kame’s cell phone and wallet out of his pockets. “I’m sure you have his number somewhere.”
Taking a look into the wallet, he eyed Kame. “So Kamenashi Kazuya it is.”
Next he focused his attention to the cell phone.

Kame had hopes left that Jin was smart enough to pretend they didn’t know each other that well and everything would end clean and safe.

“Well, this is interesting!”

The loud, amused voice startled Kame.

“Then better don’t wear any clothes at all.
Gonna rip them off you anyway.
Haven’t seen you in a week.

- From: Jin.” He read aloud.

Kame froze. He had forgotten about the messages in his phone. He hadn’t expected this guy to read them.

Six guys were staring at him disbelievingly before breaking out in cheerful victory dances. “Woooho, we hit the jackpot!”

Kame’s hopes for a happy ending sank rapidly.
The guy with his phone came closer to Kame again, smirking. “This is priceless. Without knowing we caught the best out of all his friends.” He grabbed Kame’s chin, looking intensely at him. “His lover.”

Kame kept his stare angrily. Now the only thing Kame could do was to prevent Jin somehow from coming here. But how?

“Tell me, Kamenashi Kazuya. Does he love you?”

“I have no idea.” Kame hissed.

“Oh, that’s cute. You don’t know if he’s just screwing around with you?”

Kame trembled in anger. He wanted to punch this guy so badly. Even though he might be right with his assumptions, Kame didn’t want anyone to judge about what he and Jin had.

“Shut your fucking mouth! It’s not your god damn business!”
Kame fell back when the fist hit right across his face, making him taste some blood from his wounded lips.
Kame just stayed laying where he was. Even though he kept a facade, he was hurt, scared and exhausted from the running.
But Kame was grabbed by the collar. “Let me make this clear, Akanishi-lover-boy! We’ve been nice so far, but that doesn’t necessarily stay that way. You try anything funny, you’re going to regret it!”

Kame received another blow that made him gasp for air.

“Let’s call Akanishi finally! I want to hear his reaction.” Another one suggested excitedly.
“Yeah.” The others joined in.

Kame’s heart was beating rapidly. He was probably the only one here who feared Jin’s reaction.

“Put him on speaker!” Came the demand.

When he heard the calling-signal, Kame held his breath. They could hear the beeping sound a few times before Jin picked up.

“Kame, what’s taking you so long?”

Kame squeezed his eyes shut, instantly hoping he could wake up from a bad dream.

“Ah, this must be Akanishi, right?”

Jin’s voice was dark and indifferent within seconds. “Who is this?”

“I think I told you my name before. It’s Yokoyama.”
A short silence followed as Jin took in the news. When they could hear his voice again it was even deeper. “Where’s Kame?”

“Oh, don’t worry, he’s securely tied up right in front of me. Quite an enjoyable sight.”

“Is he ok?” Jin’s voice was still monotone. “Well, you know~”
“I FUCKING ASKED IF HE’S OK!! Jin shouted at him now.

“Geez, you’re short tempered aren’t you?”

“Stop kidding around with me, asshole, let me talk to him!”

Yokoyama held the phone a bit more in Kame’s direction. “Speak, Akanishi, he can hear you.”
Kame straightened himself as good as he could in his situation.

“Hey, Kame, are you alright?” Jin’s voice was tense, but had gotten softer.
“Yeah, Jin, I’m ok. Sorry for getting myself into this.”

“Don’t be stupid. It’s not your fault. Don’t worry, OK? I’ll take care of this.” Despite Jin’s calm tone, Kame could almost hear Jin pacing around.
Taking care of sounded so easy out of Jin’s mouth, but he knew it wasn’t and he didn’t exactly want to know what was running through Jin’s mind right now.

“Aaaw, you two are sooo cute.” Yokoyama interrupted them.
Jin’s voice had lost all softness again. “This was a mistake Yokoyama!”

“Ah, Akanishi, your threats failed to impress me the last time so they won’t start now.
This, just now, was the last thing you’d ever hear from your precious boyfriend.
If you don’t exactly do what I tell you, the next thing you’ll see of him is a photo of every body part of his - separated. What is your favourite body part, Akanishi?”

He waited for a few seconds. “Got your attention now?
You’re going to find out the whereabouts about a guy called Imayama and kill him. He’s one of your boss’ business partners and the one who wanted Mizuno to be killed. You’ll take a picture and then you’ll contact me. I’ll tell you where you meet me to show me this picture. And if you’ve been a good boy you’ll see your Kamenashi again.”

Kame stared at Yokoyama who smirked evilly. That was what they wanted?

“I don’t have to warn you that if you touch him in any kind~”
“Get to work, lover boy!” Yokoyama interrupted Jin, cutting the line.

“Well, this was refreshing.” Again he knelt in front of Kame, smiling sweetly. “Now let’s hope your darling does what I told him to.”

~*~

Jin stared at his phone for minutes after the line went dead. Then all the anger and frustration burst out of him with a long, loud scream. Even before his voice subsided, Yamapi barged into the room. “Jin, Jin, what’s wrong?”

Jin spun around, his eyes glistening with hate. ”They got Kame.” He growled.
Yamapi froze in his spot
Jin continued. “Gather everyone!”
With that he turned around and disappeared in his bedroom.

Yamapi made a few calls, always with the same words. “Jin’s apartment, 10 minutes, emergency meeting.”
Within 10 minutes Jin’s living room was full of people, curious what was going on. Yamapi hadn’t given them an explanation and Jin was still in his bedroom. When he came out, he had a grim expression, fastening two guns on his belt before letting the rim of his hoodie fall over them to cover them underneath.

“Jin~” Yamapi started, but Jin shot him a silencing look. This time he wouldn’t listen to any lecture about not doing something stupid.

Jin scanned the room to check which of his friends had made it. He knew if someone made an emergency call, most of them would be there in an instant.

“Alright, I think you all know about the situation with the Osaka gang?” Jin started, getting everyone’s attention. “Apparently they didn’t take my advice to fuck off and now made an even bigger mistake. They kidnapped Kamenashi.” Jin waited for a few seconds for the information to sink in. He was sure everyone by now knew who he was talking about.

“They want me to take revenge on Imayama and go, show them a picture of his dead body to get Kame back.”

Shirota spoke up. “You know that they won’t let you leave alive once you go there?” Jin looked at him as if he said something really stupid. “Of course I know. That’s why I want Nagase and his guys and Matsumoto and his guys to go and collect information about this Imayama. You can take others for support, I’m sure a few of Yamapi’s guys are free for some fun. Koki, you and the guys help me find Kame’s whereabouts. I know you’re good at this shit.”

Jin shot his three closest friends a look. “I don’t have to ask you if you’re in, right?” Yamapi, Ryo and Shirota nodded. They knew better than anyone that they not only had to find Kame, they also had to keep an eye on Jin because he wouldn’t act like a sane person when it came to Kame.

“OK, “ Jin spoke up again as no one had any objections. “Whoever calls me first decides with this what I’m going to do.
Oh, and there’s a difficulty. We have to stay under Johnny’s radar at all costs. He mustn’t know about my plans to kill one of his business partners. And most definitely not about Kame’s existence!” Jin didn’t need to tell them, but he did anyway. “If this goes wrong, we’re going to have a huge problem!”

A huge problem. Jin really had the talent to beat around the bush. They all knew what that meant. They more or less at some point had realized how important Kame was to Jin. They probably were more aware of it than Kame himself.

They nodded at Jin as they left. The smaller group who was supposed to search for Kame, gathered around Jin. The latter again spoke. “This has to be as quiet as possible! That’s why it’s only you, who I trust the most. If they get to know about anything of this, they’re going to hurt him.”

“Trust us, we’re going to get him back!” Koki was eager to beat some information out of people.

Jin’s phone made a beeping sound when he was about to leave. His heartbeat fastened when he saw it was a message from Kame’s phone. Opening it a picture appeared, showing a tied up Kame lying on the floor. The text under the picture read: “Like what you see? Still in one piece. Keep it that way!”

“I’M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU ALL!” Jin shouted, about to throw the phone on the wall. Luckily he was able to stop himself early enough. Instead he grabbed a bottle on the living room table and smashed it into a shelf.

Without further explanation Jin stormed out of the apartment. He didn’t feel the need to share Kame’s miserable state with the others.
Jin jumped into his car, leaving with the squeaking sound of wheels scrubbing over asphalt as he hit the gas pedal to the hilt.

It was already 1am and he had only time left to search until the sun would rise. It was too risky to be seen in daylight.

Jin’s first aim was the port area. He parked his car in an abandoned parking lot and continued walking, avoiding the lights of the lanterns. He knew this area and wanted to check the first buildings that came into his mind of which he knew were perfect for hiding.

His initial euphoria subsided steadily as even after hours he didn’t have a single hint. Jin cursed under his breath as he saw the sky slowly brightening.

His chest was hurting and his hands were shaking from the frustration that wanted to explode out of him. But he had to return. At least to somewhere safe.

~*~

This time he didn’t slow down when he reached the quiet blocks of korea-town. This time he knew his friends were there and even on those guys he didn’t know he had left a lasting impression.
Of course again someone jumped in front of his car. This guy didn’t recognize his car from the last time, meaning, he most definitely wouldn’t recognize him either.

Jin furrowed his eyebrows annoyed. One hand closed around one of his guns while hitting the brakes. Jin’s car came sliding to a halt, mere centimetres in front of the guy aiming his machine gun at him.
Jin climbed out of the driver’s seat even before the guy had time to walk around his car. Jin pulled out both guns now, aiming as well. “It’s Akanishi! I’m gonna meet GD and the guys and I don’t have the freaking patience for your bullshit!”

The guy stared angry at Jin, but after a while lowered his gun. It was pointless to keep aiming when none of them would give in. And Jin knew the other had the safety of backup in the shadows should he do anything stupid. His name was well known anyway but not necessarily his face.

The Korean hesitantly stepped back, letting Jin pass. Jin lowered his guns, but kept them in a secured grip in his hands. He made his way around a few corners, the Korean following him in a safe distance.

Stepping into the building he had been in about two weeks ago, he was suddenly surrounded by ten armed guys, all pointing their guns at his head.

Jin’s hand snapped up automatically, aiming randomly at two out of them.

“Oh, it’s really you.” Jin recognized a few. He could hear murmurs from the others, things in Korean he didn’t understand, but probably meant things like ‘this is Akanishi?’ Jin glared at them. “Better remember the face for the next time!”

Without further disturbance they let Jin through to continue his way.
When he entered the room, Tae Yang and G-Dragon were currently battling on the Playstation, making Jin wonder if everything they ever did was playing around all day.

Top sat on the couch, reading something, but turned to him when Jin entered.
He first mustered Jin behind his nerdy glasses, then his gaze lingered at the guns in the Japanese boy’s hands. “What happened to you?”

The others averted their attention to Jin as well.
The latter just pushed a few buttons on his phone, tossing it at Top. Top frowned at the picture he saw.
“Shit.”

Putting aside his glasses he eyed Jin. “What do you want us to do?” The other Koreans had gathered around Top, looking at the message as well.
Even though it was hardly possible to believe from a first impression of the always hyped up, cheerful bunch, in the blink of an eye, seriousness surrounded them that screamed business.

“Just help me gather information about his whereabouts.”
They nodded.
“Do you still have the punching bag?” Jin asked no one in particular.

“Sure.” GD was the fastest
Jin put his guns on the table and his jacket on a chair before disappearing, not in the mood for any conversation.

The Koreans looked at each other. “This is really bad. If something goes wrong he’s going to freak out.” Silence followed. Tae Yang fetched his phone from the table, dialling a number.

“Yamapi? It’s me, Tae Yang. We heard what happened~”

“WHAT?! You already heard about it?” Yamapi shrieked, panicking.

“Cool down. He’s here. He told us.”
Yamapi was clearly relieved. “Thank god. You gave me a heart attack just now. But I’m glad to know he’s with you.”

Yamapi then told them about their plans and that there was, so far, no clue. After Yamapi’s ‘keep an eye on him’ they ended the call.

Jin was gone for an hour already when Top got up. “I’ll go check on him.”

Top reached their training room. Jin was still hitting the punching bag, totally absorbed in his task. His hair was wet and his exposed torso covered in sweat, a fresh scar on his chest.

Jin didn’t even perceive Top’s presence until the latter stopped the punching bag from swinging back. “That’s enough for you! Take a shower and sleep! Save some energy, dammit!” Top’s deep voice pulled Jin out of his daze. He looked at Top with a blank expression.

“Yeah.” He just said, fetching his shirt from the floor and made his way to the shower
Top watched his retreating back. He wasn’t the only one amused again and again how easily someone as dangerous as Jin could leave all the thinking to his friends and just act on what they thought was best for him, trusting them completely. Especially when it concerned himself.
Jin was always in control of everything. The only thing he had never been able to control and take care of was he himself. Or he was just too lazy to do so, Top suspected for a while now.

Jin came into the main room about half an hour later immediately making himself comfortable on the couch. “Wake me up when the sun starts setting.”

~*~

Even though he hadn’t slept he felt kind of regenerated. Lying on the floor, doing nothing had helped him gain some of his energy back. It’s not like he could do much when his hands are tied up behind his back. The only thing he could do was thinking. And thinking he had done.
He needed a way to get out of here.

After the sun had risen the Osaka-guys didn’t seem to pay that much attention to him anymore. Most of them were probably sleeping somewhere, only two of them were around.

Kame slowly skulked to a couch. He was almost at his destination when a voice startled him. “What do you think you’re doing?”

Kame turned around. “Erm, I just thought I could lean against the couch. My whole body’s sore already.

The guy snorted annoyed, but turned around and let him be. Kame sighed relieved. First step was done.
Now he could hide his hands between his body and the couch while trying to free his small wrists out of the rope.

Kame worked concentrated on tiring out the material around his limbs. This whole thing he was in triggered a memory of his past he had wanted to forget so he prevented with his full concentration that his thoughts would leave the current task at hand.

One step after another, Kamenashi. Deal with everything else later! He said to himself.

Kame didn’t know which side had suffered more under the friction of pulling the ropes; the rope itself or his skin. He tried to ignore the pain from his wrists as much as he could.

He had to guess, but it took him about an hour to loosen it so much that his hands could slip out. Kame didn’t spend another thought about his aching, bloody wrists, excited about freeing himself.

Now the hard part started. He had already checked out the whole path to one of the doors he could escape through, every object on his way where he could stop and hide to wait for any movements of the Osaka-guys. His heart was beating rapidly in his chest. He had this one chance and it had to work.
Only one of the guys was close and he had turned his back to him, reading something.

Kame took a deep breath, jumping on his feet as quietly as possible. He sprinted over to his first stop, pressing his back against the surface of the steel pillar. Looking around hectically Kame held his breath while listening for any sounds.
Nothing reached his ears.

Kame continued ducking past boxes and a small crane to lead containers with. The door was already in his view, but Kame knew better than to let his guard down.

Almost without producing any sounds he reached the metal wall of the warehouse. Kame knew he had to be extra careful when he was on the other side of the door. He didn’t know if they would guard the building or if they were confident enough to believe Kame hadn’t the guts to try to escape.

Before Kame’s hands could reach the doorknob something hit his neck.
Pain exploded in his head and he couldn’t even form a thought when he saw the floor coming closer fast.
The only thing his brain registered was a low, frosty voice. “This is as far as you’ll get.”
He faintly recognized the guy he had gotten to know as Shibutani.

Kame was in a daze when he was harshly dragged back to where he had started. Pain and anger now mixed with frustration and the loss of hope.

Again he was tied up, but this time Kame felt cold metal against his skin. Kame screamed when his cuffed hands were lifted so he was practically hanging on a chain in the middle of the room.
´
Another voice joined the previous. “Aaw, we tried to be nice, Kamenashi-chan.. But I see you’re not only as fearless as Akanishi, but also as reckless and dumb.”
Kame glared at the guy in front of him. Great, he had messed up his only chance. Just great, Kamenashi, he cursed himself.

“Speaking of which,” The guy continued, pulling out his phone after taking a glance at his watch. “Let’s give that lazy ass some new motivation to focus on work.”
The excitement in the others voice made Kame want to puke, but his empty stomach prevented him even if he wanted to.

~*~

Jin’s eyes shot open at the beeping sound of his phone. Even in his sleep he hadn’t let go of the tight grip around the small object. Sleep would be exaggerated in Jin’s case. It had been more like constant unconscious twisting and turning around on the couch.

Even in his ‘sleep’ he had managed to annoy the hell out of the Koreans, so they were already sitting there, awake, chatting and plotting.
The sound made them freeze though.

Jin’s eyes widened at the sight of the contents of the message.

“Your darling’s been a baaad boy.
I suggest you hurry up!
- Yoko”

Underneath was yet another picture attached. A chained up Kame, clearly in pain.

The Koreans rose to their feet at Jin’s expression, expecting nothing good.
Jin pressed the dial button right away and started shouting as soon as the line connected.

“WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THING YOU’RE DOING?!” Jin was beyond rage. Kame could hear Jin through the phone without the speakers. He prayed they would stop provoking Jin. Even he didn’t know what the older was capable of and he didn’t want to find out.

“I’m sorry Akanishi. We’ve warned both, you and him. I think taking us serious is what you both lack. Maybe you start with it now.”

“GET HIM DOWN THERE NOW!” Jin continued unimpressed. “OR I’LL MAKE YOU WISH YOU WERE NEVER BORN WHEN I RIP YOU ALL IN TINY LITTLE PIECES!”

A chuckle came from the other side. “Sorry, but it’s much more fun this way.”

Jin heard the sound of chains and Kame’s pained moan. Something flickered through Jin’s eyes when he saw red and grabbed his guns from the table.
That was the moment when the Koreans jumped forward, grabbing Jin.

The Osakans heard some rustling on the other side until a deep, calm voice with a Korean accent could be heard.

“I think we haven’t been introduced yet. The name’s Top. You’d better remember it.
Right now it takes four strong and skilled guys to hold Jin down. We’re all professionals. And we’re friends of Jin. And you know what, it’s getting even better. We’re just the tip of the iceberg. There’re many many more. And you’re not just pissing Jin off.
If anything happens to Jin or Kamenashi you never again will be able to set foot out of your hideout. And even if you do you won’t survive more than a day. That’s a promise.”

A silence followed in which Jin’s endless screaming and shouting of curses at everything and everyone was the only thing that could be heard.
Top knew he had made the other think. Made him think that this now turned out to be too big for them. If they didn’t stop now they would never get out of this alive.
According to the struggling boy in the background, it was already too late.

“Just tell him to get to work.” Was the only thing the Osakan said before he cut the line.

“WHY THE HELL DID YOU LET HIM HANG UP?! GIVE ME BACK MY GOD DAMN PHONE!!”

Top stepped forward and hit Jin in the face. Jin’s head snapped back and his eyes wide open. He stared dumbfounded at Top and the latter had reached his goal. Jin had shut up.

Top sighed relieved. “Thank god. Now let’s get to work.” He turned around.

The other four let go of Jin, following the oldest of their group, not without each patting Jin comfortingly on the shoulder.

People who knew Top knew, the angrier he was, the calmer was his outer appearance. And he only used his bare fists when he absolutely had no other choice. Or to smack some senses into someone.

Before the Japanese leader could gather himself, Daesung raised his voice. “I tried locating Kame-chan’s cell phone, but it looks like they only turn it on whenever they’re calling you. Or they found another way to block our tracking.”

Seungri spoke up next. “The few Korean contacts we’re having here reported that there were movements between the 44th and 46th docks. But don’t get your hopes up that doesn’t have to mean anything.”

Jin’s face brightened. At least that was something. At least any hint, something physical he could work with. “Thanks.” He replied honestly, appearing calm now when he stuffed his guns back on his belt, ready to leave.

As much as he was boiling inside, he knew it was futile to try to fight his friends so it was better to make them believe he had calmed down.

“Akanishi?! You’re not going alone.” GD stopped Jin on his way out.

“I’m just checking the situation and if it’s a “bull’s eye” I’m calling for backup. Let’s just not create a fuss over something unproved. We’ll just draw too much attention.”

The others nodded sceptical. They got Jin’s point, but doubted his word to call and wait for them if Kame really would be there.

So Jin jumped into his car, making his way to the docks in full speed. He only slowed down when he came closer, parking a bit further away. Getting his guns ready he ducked in the shadows the almost set sun created of the walls.

Jin was more than just on the edge, freezing up on even the smallest sound that reached his ears. He made his way around the building, looking for a possible entrance that was not the obvious huge front gate. He spotted a door about 6m above him at the end of the small and rusty fire staircase.
He cursed at the sounds it created while he tip-toed his way upwards.

The guns secured in his hands Jin pushed the doors open a bit, slipping inside the building. A creaking sound made him spin around. The suppressor of his guns pointed at the face of a person who yelped in surprise.

Jin sighted. “God dammit, Pi! Be careful who you’re startling!”

Yamapi as well sighted in relief about recognizing Jin. “We were on our way when we got a message to check this area.” Yamapi whispered as Jin pulled the guns out of his face.
Jin frowned.

“A Korean message, I guess?”
Yamapi just smiled. “This building’s empty. The others are currently checking the surrounding warehouses so we should go look for them.”

“Great.” Jin turned around with an annoyed expression. His calm facade was faltering.

“Dammit!” He stormed back down the fire staircase. Yamapi followed him.

Outside they met Koki, Nakamaru and Ueda. “Looks like we’ve got a false alarm. Someone’s been here, but not our Osaka-friends.” Koki wasn’t pleased either with the outcome.

Jin pulled his hair in frustration. “So we’re back to point zero?” He kicked against metal garbage on the ground, not caring about the loud sounds they created.

“Gosh, Jin, calm down!” Yamapi put a hand on his shoulder.

“Why does anyone keep telling me to calm down? I can’t fucking calm down!” He shoved his phone into Yamapi’s hands. The latter flipped through the menu until he stopped at the ‘received messages’.

“Oh shit!” Yamapi looked at Jin full of sympathy. “Why did they do this to him?”

“I don’t know. Damn Kazuya couldn’t keep his feet still and had to do something stupid.” Jin had started pacing around restlessly. “I’m so going to kill him when I got him out of there!”

Yamapi chuckled at Jin’s logic. “You would’ve done the same. Imagine what you would do if you knew Kame would come and run into his own death to save you?”

Jin looked at Yamapi for a while, thinking really hard. “OK.” He admitted, “You’re right. But I would’ve at least succeeded.”
Koki rolled his eyes. “Yeah, sure Jin, you would’ve gotten a bullet in your ass straight away.”

Jin just glared at his friends. “The sun has set now. I’m going to continue looking on my own so you do the same.”
“OK” They agreed and parted.
It was demotivating to search without any hint, but the least Jin could do now was sitting somewhere, waiting.

Deciding it was a good point to start, Jin continued scanning the area around the western harbour. Without much success.
Even threatening and in the end bribing the homeless people living in that area didn’t get him closer to his missing lover.

It was close to midnight when his phone vibrated again in his pocket. Jin’s heart stopped for seconds, until he saw the caller. Closing his eyes he picked up, sighting disappointed. “Tomoya-kun?”

“Hey, Jin, how’ya keeping up?”
Jin sighted again. “Not good. Still no signs…and they’re hurting him.”
Right now Jin was happy he was alone in a dark alley where even the moonlight didn’t reach him. Frustration, anger, exhaustion and worry had bought him to the edge of crying right now and he sure as hell wouldn’t show that vulnerable state to anyone.

“Shit.” Nagase cursed. “So I’m the first caller?”
Jin cleared his throat. “Yeah. Just tell me what you’ve got.”

“Alright. The guy works at days in the Nomura building in Nishi-Shinjuku. He’s young, but suddenly quite successful. Suspicious, huh? Must be Johnny’s influence. Too bad for him that that’s the reason why we were able to find him.” Nagase chuckled. “When you use dirty tricks it’s going to bite you in the ass one day or another.” He ignored the fact that their own ways weren’t as innocent and legal either.

“Anything about his personal life?” Jin asked.

“Well, after work he’s getting into his bullet-proof limousine and is getting driven to his guarded home~”
“~so the only chance I’ve got is at work.” Jin finished.
“Yeah, pretty much. But I’ve got good news. He’s usually working long, when there’re only a few people left in the building.”

“That’s good but it’s too late today, right?”
“He has probably left already. But that gives you some time to think of a strategy for tomorrow night.”

“Great.” Jin’s voice was filled with sarcasm.
“’Thanks to the other guys, too. I’ll get to work then. Good job.” Jin ended the call.
He would check out the building anyway. If he was lucky, Imayama would still be there, working. If not he could already gather information and plan the next step.

Again and again he tried to call Kame’s phone. Now that he had the whereabouts of his target and a possible time to finish this craze, Jin hoped they would go easy on Kame. All his attempts were in vain though, as the phone was shut off.

Even though it was night it took Jin almost another hour to reach Shinjuku. He parked his car in a smaller side street, close to the various host clubs of the Shinjuku entertainment area. Jin had to smile at the memory of him and his friends visiting one of them. The plan had been to go to a female host club, but drunk as they had been, they had ended up surrounded by guys, making fun how they were better looking and drew all the attention of the female customers to them.

Now Jin had to avoid drawing attention at all costs. He was well aware that whatever happened here would reach Johnny’s ears.

Jin’s object of interest was located in the quieter business district of Shinjuku. Skyscrapers surrounded him and now he cursed the flashing lights and spacious architecture for making him unable to hide.
Coming closer to the building, Jin was confronted with his first obstacle. A guarded glass entrance with surveillance cameras.
Jin stayed further away, hiding and observing the entrance. Security was something he was very familiar with so he knew what he had to pay attention to.

After half an hour he had formed a plan. It would take too much effort to trick the personal and cameras. So he had to sneak into the building when it was still open. He had to risk that there would be more people than at night, but that too, was something he was used to.
Jin just didn’t have the time to prepare for a clean and safe mission.

On his way back to the car his phone vibrated yet again. And again Jin’s heartbeat jumped. He was sure one of these days he’d die of a heart attack.

“You tried to contact me, Akanishi?” Came Yokoyama’s voice.
“Yeah. Get Kame down there, OK?! By tonight you’ll get your picture.”

“Ah, I see you found him. That’s good. But I’m still the one in charge here so don’t think you can demand anything!”
“Damn you, Yokoyama! Let me at least talk to him!”

Yokoyama held the phone in Kame’s direction. Kame tried to focus his pain dazed mind, trying hard to not sound too hurt and afraid. Hearing Jin’s voice felt so good.

“Kazuya, how are you doing?” Jin’s voice was soft and full of concern.
Kame gathered all his strength.
“I’m OK.”

“Liar.”

Jin knew Kame tried to comfort him.
“Listen, it’ll be over soon. I’ll get you out of there by tonight.”

Kame closed his eyes, gritting his teeth. “Don’t you dare to come here!” He had to avoid Jin rescuing him at all costs. If Jin would come, the older would die.

Jin sighed. “Kamenashi Kazuya, I’m not going to abandon you so get that out of your head straight away! I’ll give them what they want and nothing’s going to happen to you. To none of us.”

“Liar.”

Kame faintly repeated Jin’s words. Kame had lost all hope. He would never be able to talk this out of the older. The last strains of Kame’s self control were slowly fading. All the suppressed thoughts and fears of being tortured and dying here crawled to the surface, making him feel suffocating all of a sudden, his breathing sped up.

Yokoyama had put the phone to his ears again. “So I’ll be expecting you tonight. I call you around 8pm.” He hung up.

Kame had started shaking, eyes squeezed shut as if he was able to shut the world out with this. All the unwanted feelings of past traumas mixed with the fear of loosing Jin he had never known to be needing that much before this. All this together evolved into a rising panic in his chest.

“Shhh.” A soothing voice was close to his ear, whispering into it. “Don’t start loosing it now. You’ve been doing so fine.”

The sudden closeness of the Osaka-guy had the exact opposite effect on Kame. Arms circled around his trembling form.
“Is this how he is holding you?” The voice with the slightly seductive undertone made Kame sick and he started wiggling more violently, his pained moans getting louder at the extra pressure on his cuffed wrists.

“Aw, stop resisting. You really are a loyal guy, aren’t you? He must be good in bed then, as I don’t see any boyfriend material in him.”

“You don’t know shit!” Kame spat, Yokoyama drew back. “What a cute couple. Too bad I have to separate you.” Yokoyama grabbed Kame’s chin, an evil smirk on his lips.
“I don’t think I have to ask who’s in, you know, control in your relationship.”
The smirk got even wider. “I’m sure you’re the one taking it. Never thought Akanishi likes fucking cute little guys like you.”

Fear reflected in Kame’s eyes. He didn’t know where the other was leading this to.
Yokoyama mustered him. “Aww, you always seem so unsure and insecure about the two of you. You don’t know if you’re just a toy to bring him pleasure. But you know, I don’t think he’d go through all this trouble if you’d mean nothing to him.”

Kame now looked at Yokoyama who buddy-like had put an arm around his shoulders. “Maybe we should ask him tonight. What do you think?”

Kame stared at him disbelievingly. Was this guy comforting him? “He’d feel the responsibility to help anyone who’s going through something like this because of him.” Kame said weakly.

“Oh, come on, don’t you have any confidence? Or maybe you still try to fool us with your whole ‘we don’t have any connection at all’ story. It won’t work. We’ve seen how he reacted. But you know? I’m curious to know what it is you’ve got that’s so appealing for Akanishi.”

The fear crept back on Kame’s face. Yokoyama was amused by that. “Don’t worry, we’re not going to gang-rape you. Well, that might change if Akanishi isn’t successful by tonight.” He turned around and left Kame alone with his fears as the information registered in his brain.
