I know! I spent the first few episodes in denial thinking 'Noooo! He must turn out to be all right.' And afterwards when Olivia solved the anagram of 'You're gonna be just fine' it was heart breaking.
I know, right? And I just twigged that it was written by glockgal.
I think this was my favourite bit. So perhaps Robin’s maniacal giggles and his obsession with word prefixes and suffixes is the only way he learned to cope with the surreal nature of his terrifyingly real world?
or possibly this
Emo boybands aren’t emo enough for him - he is a hardcore fan of static and white noise. That’s how much angst he has, man. Can you dig it?

Oh, I totally missed that, but it makes sense. *snerk*
Those two lines made me laugh, but of course I gravitated right to this bit: Superman, who avoids them as much as he can by going on dessert dates with Bruce Wayne. He'll take his PIE OF SHAME to go, please!
Yeah but sometimes too much negativity in the fandom is annoying. I guess I am watching it because I've become attached to the characters and I want to see how it ends. I certainly don't watch for the plotlines. I'm also a Clois fan.
My Smallville obsession peaked during season 3 and then after the Lana witch arc of season 4 it was never the same for me. I also didn't like when Clark slept with Lana and she didn't know his secret.

I only really watch for Lois/Clark so not being terribly invested in it helps.
