I'm not sure Canada can take any joy in the 2010 Olympics. The plotting of the Canadian Olympics Committee, while understandable (all countries hosting the Olympics try to give themselves the best 'home court' advantage), has still resulted in the death of a 21-year-old who should NOT have died.
Any medals are going to taste like ashes. (Though I hope the athletes can enjoy them since its not their fault.) Thank you, though.
