sorry for the late reply.. okey first i'll give you some links: flexible squares tutorial => this tutorial explains what almost every piece of code does. original flexible squares stylesheet => this is the original code that you can modify as you please. but it may be a little difficult as it will be your first layout and it is a lot to change (especially colors), so you can grab one of my codes and modify it. just say that is my base code and that you did the changes:)
now two small things: to change your header images all you have to do is to find the section called .headerimage.then make sure you type in the height, width, and URL of your chosen header image for changing tha background: find the section called body (usually is the 1st one in the code) and change the url for the background-image.
if you have any other questions or if you get stuck somewhere feel free to tell me and i'll try to help u as best as i can:)
