What a lovely story, indeed the man was an angel!

I believe I have set the first two years of this LJ to private (IIRC) or at least made them friends only. Old LJ entries kind of embarrass me - but change and grow is the purpose right? :-)

Oh I cringe when I read over some of my older entries. I can't believe that some of them were public! Indeed, it does show how we've grown and changed.

A girl I have never met and talk to a little online was going through her son's clothes [he is almost 3] and she sent me all his clothes from 12months-3t for bear, for free. TONS of clothes ( ... )

I remember reading about that in your journal. Just reading about it made my day, so I can only imagine how it truly brightened yours. I've spent a lot of time thinking about that person, and wishing that I had so much to give. People like that wow me.

I hope Dot is enjoying/enjoyed the little booties I sent. I selected the ones with the horsies, because it felt like sending her a little bit of myself. I know it wasn't much, but it was what I could afford. I wish it could have been more.

Indeed, someone has to start the chain. The people who say, "Well, why should I be bothered. No one helped me!" just don't seem to get it. To me, the most amazing people of all are the ones who say, "I'm going to go out of my way to help others, because no one bothered to help me." Such people truly do get it.

so far her feet are still too little for the booties but she loves the wrist rattle that came with them :) i'm sure she'll like the booties when they fit, she really hasn't discovered her feet yet anyway, just her hands, so we have time :)

don't worry, even if you think it wasn't much, EVERYTHING i receive is greatly appreciated.
