Before you start to read this, you have to know what a pathetic CE fangirl I am. I haven't had a chance to watch much of his work, BUT I WILL EVENTUALLY DAMMIT. Even still, I love the man and had to rant at least a little about him. (Sorry about spamming your friends page today! Procrastinating studying is what I do best.)

You remind me of two great things -- the very fun scenes between Chris and Sharon Horgan as Pod and Homily (thanks for the shoutout to my Borrowers fic!) and the great dynamic between Nine and Jack -- which does really put John Barrowman in the position to be Chris's best male costar. :)

I just ADORE Barrowman and Eccleton together and wish they had had more episodes. *sighs*

"The Second Coming" is a good place to start. It's on YouTube, and so is "Othello" (that's where the famous bathtub-gargoyle gif comes from). If you have Netflix streaming, they have "Jude" (get the handkerchiefs ready) and "I Am Dina" (he only shows up during the second half of the movie, but OMG the hotness).

Just think of all the viewing pleasure you have ahead of you.

1.Yeah for Nine! He is the gateway drug known as Ecclesex for many unsuspecting fangirls.

2.The 'Turn of the Earth' speech is hot. I often wonder if RTD did that on purpose, or if CE upped the wattage on it.

3.More love for Nine. He needs more love these days.

5.BP and CE had some serious chemistry going on. It is no wonder they made the character of Rose older once she was cast. You wouldn't want the Doctor getting in trouble.

6.I often wonder what a second series with BP, JB, and CE together would have been like. They only had a few episodes together and they were all epic. Team TARDIS forever!

I fell in love with CE's Doctor when he gave that little inward smile.... I knew they'd gotten someone who could really act and project what it meant both to the character and to science fiction and DW fans to be the Doctor. Of course then came THE speech. Signed, sealed, delivered.

That man was my gateway for what a real actor can be. *sigh* He was so intense and so fun and lovable as Nine.
