Don't beat yourself up too much. If she was really determined to run off, she would have found a way pretty much no matter what. You'e already given her an extension she never would have had in the wild; that leg probably would have killed her. At least now she has a fighting chance. And you did that for her.

Yeah, I know, but I feel responsible for her.

Of course she doesn't know that it's not safe for her out there - I just hope she decided to come back.

Don t worry Anna, she will be back when she s hungry, expect she could smell another hoggy and wanted to go, she is a wild thing after all, I expect she will get around quite well, she managed to get out of your pen ok, just keep leaving her supper out, she ll be back.

Hope she turns up and that the food is left outside the pen. She might not find it so easy to get back in!

She'll get back in easily, I've propped the pen up on big stones so there's a gap. But no sign yet.... :(
