I thought I'd drop off a prompt/sweet mental image by way of saying 'hello!', so - 'AU scenario: kid!Bruce finds an abandoned robot (read: Dummy) that he puts back together/repairs.'

Steve and Tony are at each other's throats again. Like usual.
The Cap storms out in a huff and winds up in his old neighbourhood. Thinking he's prepared for the changes, he discovers that he's really, really not. He's horrified and crushed that every single one of the old joints are gone, where everything is high-tech and impersonal and people don't truly connect with one another anymore, where everyone's a stranger and kindness is hard to come by
