Okay so, for the last five days I have been attempting to narrow the chaotic byways, that I laughingly (ok, ok, giggelingly) refer to as my brain, down to basic principals so as to write The Great American Novel. Or at least, my novel

You sound like me! I have, last I counted, twenty-some universes that don't even have the plots necessary to make them into stories. -_-' (I think I might have narrowed it down to under ten by putting them in the same universe, even when they will clearly have different main characters and plotlines, but I still have a LOT of stories

It's totally cool to comment on anything you find here, BTW. I figure, if I wanted it where somebody couldn't read and comment on it, I'd make it private or I wouldn't put it on LJ in the first place.

I know exactly what you mean about writing for the Fantastical as well. It's always more fun, even if it does drive you nuts.
