This movie was bonkers. I was expecting something like MCU levels of explosions, fantasy/sc-fi explanations and gadgets, etc. I was not prepared.

I STRUGGLED with this movie, but probably because I was not in the theaters and currently have the attention span of a gnat. It felt like two different movies before and after Rasputin. I am a big fan of Matthew Goode and Charles Dance, though. I also wished the servants were given more things to do instead of just hinting at their competencies.

Also the actor who played Conrad looked similar to the main character in 1917 and I was very confused for a moment, haha.

I saw this one in theatres, so I couldn't just pause it and walk away. It just kept going. It's one of the things I do like about seeing things in theatres, if things get intense sometimes I just pause for the night and then I never get back to it.

The Rasputin part was so whacky. Like even more than the rest.

Agreed on the servants' part! I guess maybe there wasn't enough time...but I really wish they could've given them more meaty parts to act.
