I think your bananas are better than the National Geographic one. Its a most INTERESTING pic. Lots to ponder on and enjoy. Super. Thanks - it's really splendid.

And as for Gary's weather forecaster stone *:)* Oh my, oh giggle and adore! I think it's like the Spanish meteo-men were... they'd look out of the window and tell you what it was doing. Totally useless for planning a cross-Meditteranean cruise in a bote! Seaweed is a little more anticipatory!

I've got Eurovision being shown here, but I'm really not sure I can stand it. Tho the thort of an Israeli Drag queen hitting the buttons might be fun! I'm off to the cinema, but will be back in time. Might see/chat with you. Enjoy it anyway!!!

Aww, it's very kind of you to say so! I like the light a lot. So many bananas! There usually is a bunch or two in the kitchen, but not usually this many!

:DDD It's also the perfect height (eyelevel when I stand in the kitchen) to see how much snow fell last night. I also consult the weather report sometimes but you can't beat the immediacy of the tree right there!

How does one use seaweed? *now quite curious*

Hahaha yeah, I can see how Eurovision might not be for everyone (I spend a lot of time going "what?????" but it's all good fun). Oooh, enjoy the cinema! Thank you, hope you like it either way!

I shall catch a bit of Eurovision I think when I get back.. sometime like about eleven... it will still be going on and on...teehee.

And the seaweed. When it's wet it's going to rain and when it's dry... it won't rain! teehee.

I've one rather needs to be eaten banana...I put it on the windowsill but it looked so lonely I gave it three onions, two tomatoes and a cooking apple. They look quite nice, but ...heh heh all will be cooked tomorrow!

One of the things that photography has taught me is that if you see something that you think is interesting--light, texture, anything--you have to take the picture then. Don't wait. Especially light, because it changes so fast; I feel like I'm always chasing after one sunbeam or another. Come back in a minute and it's gone, wahh.

This, absolutely. It's amazing how fast light moves - that, or a cloud comes along and changes the whole context.

I like your banana photo - from the sound of it, it's definitely lucky you got there when you did!

Also, I think Banana Massacre would be a great ice-cream sundae name.

Ohh, yeah! Something with lots of banana and ice cream just slapped everywhere.

Yeah, exactly! When that happens I fumble for the settings and try to squeeze off a couple more pictures before the light changes again.

Just before they were all eaten! or probably frozen, I think, because one person can't possibly eat so many bananas at once (I think).
