Mary and Matthew's Wedding...

So, as usual I have lots of ideas as to what I want to happen in series 3 of Downton Abbey - in terms of Mary and Matthew anyway! So here's my random musings about why I think it should happen and what I want to actually happen - in the first episode anyway!

I completely agree - definitely want to see a wedding (big or small) at Downton in the first or second episode. If JF separates them or throws in some other obstacle, I will boycott the rest of the series. Seriously

Worried about Mary's ex

Gosh, I'm so worried about what Mary's ex - is his name Sir Richard? The nasty guy who hates the servants having time off... I mean, couldn't he conceivably get Mary arrested for killing Pamuk? And then she'd get hauled off to a murder trial instead of getting married.

I just re-watched episode two, and Daisy even sees the women dragging the body down the hall. So won't that come to something?

Anyway, I think we are all worried that we aren't going to see Mary and Matthew EVER be happy together. So I hope it's not so.

I don't think we need to worry too much. Whilst I think Sir Richard will cause a bit of trouble in the newspapers, I don't think it'll have too many far reaching implications - not when Mary's about to get married to the future Earl of Grantham
