I'm glad you liked the pics - putting them together like this helps fit things into place better IMO. I hope I'm right too - only because I want Mary and Matthew to get engaged this Christmas!
Yeah, I've watched the previews loads of times and this is definitely what makes the most sense to me. I just want Mary and Matthew to get properly together!
Hi me again. I just watched the the itv xmas preview, and I swear that in the shot of two people spinning in the snow, the one carrying the other is wearing tails! I'm so excited! I'll eat my hat if it isn't Matthew and Mary!
YES! I definitely thought there was what looked like tails flapping about too, but I wasn't sure. If it is, then that makes it even more likely to be Matthew!
And I'll my hat too if it's not!It just has to be them and if it's not, Fellowes has reached an all time low in his cruelty to fictional characters and viewers.
YAY! I was so happy it was them - they sooo deserved it!
I'm hoping I can guess correctly for series 3, episode 1, and say we'll see them getting married!
I can just see it now - the series opening (as it always does) with the servants bustling about - preparing for the wedding for Mary and Matthew!
I think it'd make a great series opener and I can't wait to see them married. If they dare split them up I'll be sooooo mad! I don't think they will though.
What about the shoot?

I am so grateful you took the time to think through this chronology, as it spared me having to puzzle through it on my own. I love it, esp how you used the dresses and jewelry to match scenes. Well, Merry Christmas, indeed, today's the day we find out. Of course, we're in California, and I'll be in the car all day. I wish I could watch it live with all of you.

I hope you enjoy it when you've watched it - it's an absolutely fantastic episode!!! Everything, all the storylines, were just so perfect and well done.
Yep - I'm very pleased I was pretty much right too - just got the actual days wrong, because I didn't think the servants ball would just be on some random day in January.
I'm glad I was right because it meant it went the way I wanted it to - especially that perfect ending in the snow! YAY!!!!
