I've been busy with my parttime gig writing for a new website called Chicks in the Huddle. One of my sisters-in-law saw an ad on Craigslist New Orleans looking for women who loved NFL football, especially the New Orleans Saints, and were interested in writing for a new website geared toward female fans. Hey, congratulations. I'll be out here in Oakland cheering for the Saints. I'm also in the process of tracking down tickets to the Saints-49ers on October 28. My husband and his sister are whiners. They'll have to face me and my friend who lives in SD as we drink more than them and are much louder!

It was fun being a Saints fan when I lived in SF. The Saints did really well one season so it was a little payback for all the years that the 49ers stomped us. Whiners are so much fun to pick on when things aren't going well.

I'll have to throw out the idea of going to different cities that have Saints-oriented bars or restaurants as a regular feature.
