it's okay, i was there too, but you can still participate in the comm, just read the rules and you are all set
As for the lj-cut thing, yeah, I've followed the FAQ to the letter and it still doesn't work - just comes up with "Entry is too long" which it wouldn't be if the lj-cut function actually worked *sighs* Thanks for the help though :)
i think you put the whole text in the text here part, which would be a problem as there should be a few words there
the lj cut works like this:
1. you write the basic lj cut thingyy (which LJ doesn't allow me to show here)
2. then after a you hit enter once or twice you add the the text of the post
3. then you add the < / lj-cut > again without the spaces in between
i dunno if this makes sense, if you have any questions just ask *hugs*
