just out of curiosity, did we become gargoyles on duty because of these characters or the other way around? i can't remember.

also, is vistethi's face angled down? because i have a hard time seing where the face is supposed to be. thought that may just be me.

We became gargoyles because Susan said 'gargoyle', you said 'on', and I said 'duty', but my part was definitely influenced by my vision of gargoyles as protectors. And since then I've inserted that phrase into some inter-gargoyle dialect in one of the stories, because I like it so much. :-)

Yes, it's angled down-- it was a hard angle to draw and Vistethi has a weird head, so it's definitely not just you. Darn inks, now I can't even fix it.

Is there a sketch somewhere of Vistethi head on, or a profile, perhaps? I am just trying to imagine what his face looks like, and, more specifically, how exactly it is attached to his head.
