“WILD” King Salmon Columbia River Also known as “Chinook” Salmon, they are the largest of all the Pacific Salmon, They have a rich buttery flavor and a medium flake with beautiful red flesh. Served with Crab and Shrimp Stuffing, Daily Fresh vegetables and Lemon Beurre blanc $29.95
...with Ahi Tuna Tartare for starters, and a nomtastic Creme Brulee for finishers. All nicely washed down with a Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling.
(I could have eaten 3 of the salmon entrees but not for that price!)
'twas mucho expensive, but it was a special occasion, so we splurged!!
I should not have salt or sugar. Nor bread, rice, pasta. Oh, yeah, no soda either.
Yes, I'm serious.
So I make deviled eggs with lots of paprika sprinkled on top. Cooked cabbage (I use already preped 'coleslaw') with allspice and onions. Broiled chicken marinated in ranch dressing. Broiled tomatoes with Parmesan that are almost like candy.
Oh, and for dessert at lunch today I had delicious, ripe strawberries.
Really, though, I could actually have whatever I wanted from time to time. I just have to be very careful. ::sigh::

The bestest thing ever, though, was my morning coffee. Espresso roast, french press, lots of sugar. Yum.
