Because it's crying out for a crossover (Mr Wingfield, you did not help things!), I gave in to temptation and wrote a little snippet of Highlander/Holby. Non-beta'd and relatively raw, but damned satisfying to write.

( 'What are you doing here?' he asked, picking up a clipboard and providing what appeared to be a close relation to a signature )

How perfect is that? Right down to hunt-the-biccy, guess-the-Kimmie and "you're wearing a suit" (and doesn't he look good in that suit?).

I heart Holby so much more now that PW's arrived :)

Hee - thanks for such a wonderful bit of feedback! I absolutely adore Peter (and the lovely suit *g*) on Holby, and after seeing the most recent episode, *the* quote and the interaction with Lola, I just couldn't resist an attempt to cross over the two 'verses. ; )

Thank you! You have made my christmas. Not only a Dan-as-Methos story (because he so is) but a great one. I do hope you are going to continue this. I am actually curious to see what Mac is up to. I love how after everything the one thing Mac is able to say is commenting on Dan's suit (and didn't he look nice in it!).

*blushing, genuinely*. Thank you so much for the feedback! I really wasn't expecting anyone else to be reading this, so (horribly cliched as this sounds), any comment is very much treasured.
I'll definitely have a crack at continuing this - but with Christmas coming it might be a little while before I get some quality writing time in.

Wow, thank you for the huge compliment!
I think that after seeing last week's Holby with all the Dan & Lola scenes, the temptation to write this kind of fic was simply too much to bear *g*.
