Whenever I have a big project or something major happen in my life it seems that Lj is the first thing to suffer. Crackbook is a close second. This time its lots of mask making. I was so ready to get better about posting. What happened? Oh, yeah, the whole house thing. Quick update: I have a kitchen! Floor was a birch to rip up. Whoever put the floor down used the wrong sort of adhesive and should have horrible things done to their kneecaps with a drill because of it. Mardi Gras is eating my brain! I have two weeks to finish off the last few masks and then its Beltane ball masks already. Once that rush is taken care of I have an entire wedding to mask.... Its a good bit of work that I'm not used to having. I'm not complaining but I need to learn how to manage my time a little better if I'm going to make art ( Read more... ) -

Most of the leather hair things found homes before I had a chance to get the camera out. The response has been good but I need to get better at painting leaves. For x-mas my inlaws gave me a gift certificate to a local bead shop so I just had to get out the needle and thread to go at a uber small project. So I missed the Thursday update. Thriftstoring took more out of me than I thought it would. It was worth it though. I had been looking at modular metal shelving to take with me when vending at cons. For 16 bits, enough to make 4 boxes it was going to be $40. I found 26 bits for 6 bucks! They are all horribly colored bit its nothing that a ( Read more... ) -

The saved masks turned out too cool to wait till Thursday. I'm thinking about ding the stitching in either a black, royal blue or a creme so that it will stand out more. I love how this looks and will be doing more like this on purpose from now on.
