Called the surgery this morning about my numb mouth. I was told that about 1% of patients have this as a side effect...ah well. Lucky me. Apparently the nerves are 'traumatised' from the operation and have deactivated as a result. They will probably heal, but might not. They don't know. It's 'wait and see'. It took me three to four days to be able to eat soft food and only one of mine was impacted.
