wow, I don't know how you keep track without keeping copious records. I'm curious about Pierce. How is it he has two fathers? Is it because Mildred doesn't know whether Cole or Alonzo is the father or something else?

I have so many pages of notes on who's who it's kind of crazy.

Pierce shouldn't have two fathers (checks again)...no, that's just me messing up when I do copy/paste. Pierce's dad is Alonzo. *fixes*

This is a great resource for keeping up with everyone. I know I've said this before but I love seeing the physical traits pass down; I could pick the Gavigan in Pierce.

Also reading Octabia wanting to follow in Philly's footsteps made me smile!

It a way for me to help everyone who reads keep all the extended family straight (as they pop in and out of the storyline as needed), and also to share little tidbits that don't make it into the story.

And yes, it's strange how some genetics stick around for a long time, like the Gavigans or Jan's mouth, and how some jut vanish after a generation or two.
