Man, I still use the term "It's the bee's knees," so I don't know what unnamed daughter is talking about.

This was great! And only one more left! You can do it! *\o/*

She's a teenager, so she thinks she knows everything but doesn't. They're so quick to discard things.

Thanks! One more, and I'm hoping to get it done tonight after I do a quick bit of research to make sure what I have in mind is actually historically accurate.

Neither of those expressions makes much sense!

And I do hope Nick survives, but...well, I understand if he doesn't. :/

So many expression don't make sense, but it doesn't keep people from using them.

Yeah, I think I'm going to leave that choice up to a randomizer, since I don't have the guts to do it myself.

I liked this simple look at the family. Once when I was a kid, my grandparents got all dressed up to go out for their anniversary. And my grandfather whistled at my grandmother and said, "My, my Harriet. you sure are putting on the dog tonight!" It took me a long time to realize he wasn't insulting her :D

It's fun to write them doing everyday things. And it's fun to explore how the different generations talked and described things.
