Aww such a lovely chapter. I had wondered how things would go with Shadow and the whole werwolf thing. Good idea to only have the transformation on the full moon, which makes much more sense than Maxis's every night change.
[Link to spoiler] Thanks! Yeah, Shadow and Jimmy worked things out. I was never a fan of EAxis's take on werewolves either, which is why I adapted the canon of the BRRL to fit my needs.
[Spoiler (click to open)]Heh, Roxanna should definitely be in her daughters dream to assure her that none of the events in the past were her fault. I find it one of the most awesome moments in the story because it shows how tight-knit the Dorans are in times of trouble. :D
I’m so glad to see that Desdemona and Jimmy finally married despite their initial difficulties after the restaurant date. I also love the cabin’s new look because it seems to reflect the new her after her dream with Roxanna. Their kids are adorable as well.
Yeah, Desi needed a little kick in the rear, and her mom was just the person to do it. I love how close the Dorans are too, considering the fact that they’re often spread out across the multi-verse.
Desi and Jimmy are quite good for each other, even if they did start out on the wrong foot. The issue of how to deal with Jimmy’s lycanthropy had to be dealt with, and because both of them are stubborn it wasn’t going to go well. I had a lot of fun redecorating the cabin, because I knew that Desi would be all “this rustic thing isn’t working for me,” and Jimmy would go along with whatever she wanted, within reason (hence there still being some more neutral tones instead of all wild colors). Their kids are great. Since you didn’t get to do much more than see them, I’ll have some more on their personalities in the BTS I’m working on.

I love the song you used to close out the chapter.

Glad you liked what I came up with for Desi. Recessives are pretty awesome, imo.
It really is a great song, and it really seemed to fit Desi quite well.
