Possibly but not necessarily the fire ball from outer space. Was he acting scared over nothing or over a garden gnome or other innocuous object? It's called ghost transmitter or something along that line. You can clear that on the bat box and check your hood with Matilda’s hood checker as it can fix some issues. Sometimes things can also be fixed in simpe. If they are gossiping and having that then yes it's corrupted.

Yeah, the thing is I had *just* used the Batbox to clear all off-world loiters, stuck Sims, etc, and I'd run the hood checker within the past few days. I've been seeing squiggly lines for a while, this is just the first time I've been able to capture it on film.

I'd planned on rebuilding the 'hood after I finished the war chapters anyway, and this just confirmed that I was probably making the right decision.

That doesn't sound good. Even when you try and do everything right and put in the hack fixes, Sims 2 still likes to stuff up when any hood is played long term. :/

It really does suck. Oh, well. I'm looking forward to some new faces in the 'hood.

I suppose it doesn't. Oh, well. Rebuilds are a pain, but at least I've done it before and I know what to do.
