There is something deeply ironic somehow about singing Fantine's song this morning ("I Dreamed a Dream"), finishing the last chorus, and then looking at my phone to find a text from my sister letting me know that she'd heard from the realtor and that our childhood home has now been sold.

(Yes, it's good news. Still.)
