I saw this first over at in_the_blue's place on LJ:

So I did, and she said: "Hmmm, I keep wanting to give you lilac or purple. So there you have it!"

Also, re: one of your pictures - Muscadines RULE. We have them growing all over our 30-acres of forest up in the Ozarks, and we picked a bucket-full a couple of weeks ago (leaving the rest for the bears and raccoons). I hoarded as many as I could to eat fresh (I admit to sticking my head inside the bucket on the way home simply to inhale the smell of them), but we made muscadine syrup out of the rest of them, for pancakes. *melts in bliss*

You don't have to give me a color; I just think these pictures are gorgeous. I have no experience with crocuses, but they're beautiful.

And oh, they ARE. The ones I am used to seeing first are a bright and sunny orange, followed by purple ones like these, and white, and purple-with-white-stripes.

Wow, didn't mean to stir things up on Gao's journal. Guess I became annoying enough for the thread to be turned friends-only. Analyzing my own motives, I feel like I might have been subconsciously trying to reach out to someone I used to know to help me get past something that's been hard to deal with. I think it back-fired and was probably a bad idea to begin with. Well, I'm sorry Aspen and apologize to Gao for me.

I'm sorry you've been dealing with something that's difficult. That's never a pleasant thing to have to go through.
