The subject line is due to the date, actually, rather than the Dark is Rising sequence, although there is of course overlap -- isn't there always? Anyway, today is All Souls' Day. I have no particular plans for the day itself, but on Sunday the choir will be singing Mozart's Requiem. It seems fitting.

So true. Take the time to smell the proverbial roses :) I did that yesterday, and took pictures of the light coming thru the leaves...it was nice. Had an appt downtown so I took the afternoon off, and it was a glorious fall day. I don't stop often enough I find.

I was scared by NaNoWriMo. I want to start writing again but I can't even imagine writing that much. Maybe I should just start writing a little a day too.

Oh, the pictures sound lovely, as does your afternoon. Wonderful. :)

And yes, writing a little a day seems a good way to start, I think.

As far as DT goes -- I did!! There's more info, too, and you remind me that I neglected to post about it because I was too busy squeeing in response to others' posts on the topic.

I think I shall remedy that in very short order...
