i just finished the "his dark materials" series. and by "just finished," i mean, i just put down the amber spyglass right before turning my computer on. besides the fact that i don't really have any idea why it's called the "his dark materials" trilogy, i'm failing to see the hype.

good question. they never got unpacked from christmas and are now in a mountain of boxes. give me another couple of weeks and i'll ship them off with cookies as a truce for stealing them for so long?

I'm not sure. I just never...I don't know even know how to put it, I've been losing all of my words recently...bonded with any of the characters, so to speak. I didn't get lost in the storyline. I fell asleep a couple of times. My sister loved it...saw it a couple of times...but I just didn't like it.

Cookies sound wonderful but don't rush. I was just curious because I wanted to make sure you hadn't sent them and they got lost in the mail or anything. That would make me sad.
