R.E.M.s got a ton of them... off the top of my head: Exhuming McCarthy, Ignoreland, Fall On Me.

Also, all the fantastic anti-establishment rap of the mid-80s:
NWA's Fuck Tha Police; Public Enemy's By the Time I Get to Arizona, Welcome to the Terrordome, Revolutionary Generation, Burn Hollywood Burn; Ice T's Cop Killer, Squeeze the Trigger, Colors, Escape from the Killing Fields, The Tower; etc.

i've never really gotten into REM, so thanks for those suggestions. 80s/early 90s rap, of course. silly me for forgetting.

One of my favorite war protest songs is Let Them Eat War by Bad Religion. It's one of many on my Rock against Bush CD

The two songs that came immediately to mind are both by the band Live and both have to do with war. The first is 'What Are We Fighting For?', and the second is 'Home'. The second is a more polite version of the first and it raises the question of when are they going to bring the soldiers home.

Not a problem! The two songs are on their most recent two albums respectively, 'Birds of Prey' and 'Songs from Black Mountain'. If you were once a fan, I would definitely recommend checking out both full albums. :)
