Thank you! Inspiration suddenly hit when I saw the latest ep and the glimpses of the paintings from season 1. I like how Isaac is still a presence in a way. And I love the new character I call African!Isaac- I have a theory that they have painted each other a lot and had some sort of kinship there.

Ooooooo, I love how you linked S1 to S3 in that little way and described paintings we've never even seen ...
I was never much of a fan of Isaac when I was first watching thte show, but on rewatching I really DO like him. You write him very well.

Thanks! I love new African!Isaac even though he makes me miss the real deal more- I like to think that they knew about each other on some level. I wasn't a huge fan of Isaac either the first time I watched it, but he really grew on me to the point that I get really sad every time I watch his death scene now! But I do love how he still has a presence on the show, like Peter looking at those original paintings of the 'Cheerleader' back from season one.
