I totally just spent an hour gathering pictures and information on any and every non-white opera soprano I could find because I got tired of Renee Fleming and assorted thin, white, blondes being the poster children of opera. Not that they aren't talented or beautiful, BUT OPERA IS MORE THAN THEM

Watched a little of this, and wow, she has amazing presence! Cute to hear of a place where kids can come after school to learn as well. I don't listen to a whole lot of opera, but I do really, really like what I've seen of Norm Lewis' Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. :)
