I made Mark older, colder and lonelier. I killed Toni off and never let him meet Wolfegang. I created a past for Lieben that gave him his name (translate the whole thing and you get 'love that kills') and his reason for his hate.

I gave Yura the strength she needed to give up her dearest and oldest friend for the good of their world and the good of her daughter.

I brought Kel back to Zyph instead of sacrificing him to the eagle goddess Eglet of his backwoods town.
