Sleep Torture

Okay. Here's where the exhaustion starts setting in--not because I'm not getting more than 7 hours of sleep a night. I usually do. But, I haven't slept deeply in more than a week now. I'm sorry it's been such rough going so far. I hope you guys can get through this stage and back to a place where wondrous, blissful sleep is a possibility again, because holy crap, I'd have completely lost my mind by now. :S

It's not really "us" getting through this stage. Like with the stereotypical set up, I'm the one taking care of the baby 24/7. He pitches in a few things, and helps around the house, but I'm already doing half his chores as well as handling the baby because he hasn't been doing them fast enough. I can't wait 2 days for him to put the laundry away--so I'll do it one handed if I have to. And now that the possibility of putting her down while she naps has come up, I'll probably use that time to do more chores he's neglected to do, instead of trying to sleep more because otherwise these things just don't get done.
