Another Gross Day

I feel like I can officially declare our Experiment Dog a failure. I spent another good 2 hours working on cleaning urine carpet stains, and trust me that it's something you do not ever want to do. Not only is it massively gross because you're dealing with not just urine but OLD urine, but it's also really frustrating. Old urine is much worse than

It's still weird for me to have a closet that is stuffed full, but not with clothes. I am telling you now that if you're thinking of moving somewhere that has only two closets in the entire place, and you're not living alone, DO NOT GO FOR IT.

We actually just have one closet here, which isn't much of an issue for us, as I own few clothes. So the rest is space used by my mom. The old house had two closets that were never organized properly, so there were clothes that had been hanging up for years on end, untouched. >_>;;

And holy crap, those stains sound horrid. If only you could just... zap that carpeting away and replace it with identical carpets, instantaneously.

You forget, my dear, that you also have a *house* and not an apartment. Part of that ensures that your kitchen is likely to be larger than mine, even if it's still "small." Also, if you have even just more than one under the sink storage, you have more than we do. And, of course, the most obvious feature is that you do not have a child on the way. XD I don't just mean clothes closets, either. Having a linen closet, or a hutch in the bathroom, or a pantry could make the difference we really need here.

The stains are horrid. I had a dream last night about picking out a rug to go on top of them. >.>

Wow. That is a lot of stuff. But also pretty exciting that you got some of those things done! You are one busy bee these days! I love it! Mainly because it means that you are feeling more and more up to doing things!! Fun times! =D

Yeah, getting ready for baby is complicated. And you must remember that part of that list is missing, because that was just apartment things. I didn't include the list for Buying A New Car, Updating Our Insurance, and Registering Both New And Old Vehicle This Year. I also didn't include shopping for any baby related items, also a long list of tasks.

The busy-bee-ness comes a lot from spending months of idleness. We need to get these expenses spaced out over the months so we can afford them, and that means we can't dawdle too much on any one thing. It also means that we need to go out nearly every weekend and try to accomplish at least one thing, which can be pretty tough for me, since even with increased energy I'm still lower than I ever have been before.

Urine is SO. HARD. to deal with. I recommend hard wood floors or cats. D=
