Okay kiddos, here's two things of fun. The first is a bit of me singing the chorus to "Diary of Jane" by Breaking Benjamin. Yes, that is me singing. I'm sorry if it's off key or whatever, as I don't know how to sing. But, I wanted to do a test run, for kicks and giggles. Well, there's my giggle.

I think that I sound nice enough to sing a baby to sleep--I've been working on lullaby singing just in case I manage to get a job as a nanny/babysitter, especially for the newborns. But, certainly nothing impressive or special. I was testing the ability for this online program to record singing.

Girl Genius was so much HARDER than Gunnerkrigg Court! D= I didn't realize how many times they use up a lot of room with speech bubbles, or draw a speech bubble right into the middle of the art. I had to go in so many times to try and blot those speech bubbles out with nothing more sophisticated than a glorified Paint! T.T Still, it's nice feeling like if I really wanted to, I could use my own icons! =D

I don't know what the breaking benjamin song sounds like, but the way you sang it sounds to me similar to how I'd sound if I recorded myself while singing - okay, but obviously not trained. :)

The beginning few lines of Amazing Grace were especially strong and right-on. It actually seemed to me as if you started bold, with a lot of confidence, and then maybe slipped on a note and got scared for the rest of the song XD

Still good, and brave! I'd feel soo like the icon you used if I posted myself singing. Although singing is super fun!

Hahaha I feel the same way - I'm usually slightly off-key, but not enough to make it HORRIBLE. Like, I play on Expert on Rock Band for the vast majority of songs (I can't keep a drum beat for shit and rock band's guitaring is far inferior to Guitar Hero's, so I sing!).

Does Brian have a good voice then?

Haha! I have karaoke (3 video games of it), and I usually play on Hard/Expert. I can get a decent mimic on songs I'm VERY, VERY familiar with, and have maybe "practiced" singing while in the car/at home/etc, but I can't just jump into it. Though, I used to wonder how people could pick up melodies, or jump in on a chorus of a song they're hearing the first time around after just one repeat, but now I've encountered enough music over the years to be familiar enough with the sounds to jump in. XD

I can't keep a beat regardless of what instrument I'm playing. XD Apparently, I can hold a beat to a song when I'm listening to it, but I can't pick out time signatures AT ALL and I can't "replace" the drums in any song. D=

Brian has a nice voice, and the ability to understand when he's going wrong and self-correct (a virtue I lack). But, he almost NEVER sings for me. D= So, I want to get him to sing for me, and record it so I can listen to it even when he won't sing for me. =D

I suck at a lot of things, actually. Such as:

I suck at being tall.

I suck at finding a job (never had a problem prior to 2008, but, well...)

I suck at keeping myself healthy (as in not sick).

I suck at doing sums larger than double digits in my head. And subtraction in general.

I suck at....

Okay, Brian have now been at this for 10 minutes, trying to think of everything I suck at. This is all we could come up with. Apparently, I'm good or better at pretty much everything else in the world. D=
