Portland is beautiful.
I would think long and hard before accepting a third roommate though. It can put a strain on one's relationship. Not that living with your family isn't already a strain, because it clearly is, but I'm just saying be cautious.

About having a third roommate...right now, neither one of us are in a position to get a place on our own. So, either we have a third roommate who we know and trust, or we have a third/forth/fifth roommate that we don't know/trust/like. But, even more than that, it's not so much a roommate as a 'housemate.' And since I originally come from a household where a dozen women lived together with one man and more than a dozen children, I feel very prepared to deal with only one other person in a house. =/ I also feel that our relationship is much stronger than having another person in the house could possibly affect. It's way worse here in my parents' house where they ACTIVELY dislike my boyfriend. Y'know? =/
