I'm not feeling well. My lungs hurt and my stomach won't give up the fight on trying to not let me eat. Also, my throat often feels raw, and I keep going between HOT! and COLD!. As in, the extremes are shocking, and sometimes come on so suddenly that if I'm standing, I tend to stagger with it. I think I inhaled something from Clarence's house that'

Dude I sooooo agree with you about the Sookie Stackhouse stories! That is exactly how I feel. Not well written but endlessly entertaining! I'm so glad that you are there to give a proper introduction to reading to Brian. I feel like if I had someone around who wanted to get into reading I could give them a pretty good idea of how and where to start and gide them a bit but you are the true master so I'm glad you are helping him out. I'm hoping that you are better and that things are looking up in terms of work! I love you and expect a letter soon!

Yeah. It's hard to guide someone through reading when they're so new to it, but not a child. He's got fully formed aspects to himself, so it's not like I can just introduce things at random. On the other hand, he's got no real experience, so he can't tell me what he'd even possibly like. So, it's a matter of giving him a really broad experience so that he can start making better informed requests--even simple ones like "I prefer books writtin in the first person" or "I like male protagonists more than female" or "I like stories with a quest aspect to it" or the reverse of all those. Reading can be such a different experience! =D
