I was usually pretty quiet, and compared to my four older brothers, my parents tell me I was actually a relief to have around because I didn't get into near as much trouble as they did. I read and drew a lot, and spent a lot of time at the library we lived a block away from. I also took on kind of a big sister role to the younger kids my mom babysat; I'm the youngest in my family, so that's about the only chance I got to do so.
