So I heard back from the vet yesterday. Socks has a type two mast cell tumor. They were unable to remove it completely, and actually got less of it than they wanted. This is both good and bad news. I hope Socks is doing better. I know how hard it must be for you to deal with this, as today I had to let my cat go after battling his lukemia for the last year. I still am keeping the both of you in my prayers.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear about your cat! That is awful. My thoughts go out to you. Thank you for asking about socks. She is doing well but her immune system is suppressed so she keeps getting infections. So far they have been mild. again, I am sorry for your loss.

Thank you. I just wish I had had more time to prepare. I come home from school and he couldn't breath and I knew it was time and it just broke my heart to do it. I do hope that Sock's immune system picks back up.
