I spent most of October in the United States because apparently, I am a masochist. I both loved and hated it equally and spent a lot of time rolling around in the fetal position weeping, because America is strange. (This is an unfair blanket statement, really. Amurrica is really large and the east and west coast are strange in very different ways,

Your adventures are simultaneously terrifying and awesome. Sounds like it was heaps of fun though!

THE NAKED THING VARIES. :'D San Francisco is one of the most liberal cities in the US, and thus has a few funny remnants from uh, queer rights;;; Harvey Milk was there. But it's one of those... really weird hangovers that no one takes advantage of, except in the heart of the Castro (the historical/current gay district) and only ever men, and most often, straight men who just get their kicks by walking around naked. And the occasional group of middle aged+ men who sit around like that drinking coffee. The friend that showed me around is gay and he was really disparaging about it.

I'm pretty much landlocked for at least a little, I think. XD But I'd love to do South America, or actually really get around to doing asia properly. I also want to see Africa and the Middle East. But I'm a little bit so-so on what I can get away with as a solo female traveller in certain regions. I think I've done most of the safe areas already.

You sure travel a lot. Envious, the only place I went to since you've been here was The Netherlands. :(
