So I haven't updated this thing in pretty much years, which is terrible because at some point, I was counting on this being a permanent record for when my memory gave out which it already is because I cannot keep a thought in my head for longer than five minutes.

Thus, a recap of my year. Or something.

That temple is Nishi Honganji! I remember the weird slogan.

Buddhist funerals are really ridiculously complex. (Although I've been told that the 'really Buddhist' funerals are actually rather simple, idk??) And I think they all differ based on clans and countries and whatnot, I'm pretty sure the amount of burning we do here would be illegal in some countries :'D And involve things like not bathing for three days and walking through the village barefoot and clad in funeral garb. No typhoon though :'D

AHHH, MYSTERY SOLVED. It was pretty, whatever it was :'D BUT THE SLOGANS WERE SO WEIRD AND THEY WERE EVERYWHERE.

:'D i think you only get typhoons for special circumstances (BY WHICH I MEAN, I GET THEM ON AVERAGE 50% OF THE TIME I TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN ASIA, GODDAMNIT).

TY! This year has been surprisingly eventful, I guess! :'D GO TO JAPAN. It's the perfect spot to go and be stupid, because there's pretty much no way you can actually die from it since people are so nice, ahaha.
