challenge!

hey, anybody out there play the pokemon gameboy games? if so, i have a challenge for you! beat the game without catching any wild pokemon! that's right, you can only use your starter and any pokemon or eggs you are given in the game. i don't care which version, but i want proof afterwards :p AND NO CHEAT CODES!

apparently somebody beat the gen 1 games with a caterpie, and the rest of his/her pokemon were HM slaves. I find this far more awesome than your challenge.

This actually isn't so hard. It depends on which game you play. Like, the latest ones all contain a few baby pokemon, which just take some time to farm levels. Previous versions contained things like togepy, shuckle, and other various pokemon that they would just hand you. The hardest one to do this on would be the origional first gen, because they only ever handed you like, 3 pokemon.

Starter, Magikarp(hey, bought from that guy, thus not caught), and Lapras(got in that tower Team Rocket took over). I keep thinking that there should be one more.

I guess technically you could allow the game corner pokemon, since like the magikarp, they're bought.
