I did take Jo-Jo to the vet on Tuesday and the problem with her leg is part of something serious. It turns out she's been infected with canine ehrlichiosis, a potentially fatal disease. Thanks, Drew. In the end I took her to the animal hospital since her legs were getting worse. They can't figure out what's causing the swelling, so she has to see a specialist now. But she's in good spirits.
