Wow, the last two weeks have been surprisingly busy. Even when I wasn't busy, I haven't been using the internet much outside of checking my e-mail. A lot has happened in the past two weeks so I'll just list events rather than writing a very long entry ( Read more... )

Lamonica went to live with another foster family. It's funny because Lamonica was so bored here that she complained to her social worker. So they decided to take her away. LOL. Teh irony.

Urrm...Hot Fuzz is retarded? That's the best British comedy film this year, me and my friends were in fits of laughter throughout the film. Even my mum enjoyed it when she saw it. It maybe because (no offense) but Americans don't always understand British humour. I am curious why you came to such a conclusion?

Glad to hear Lamonica left for good, hopefully that has given you some breathing space. May I ask what is the Otakon convention is?

Otakon's the 2nd largest anime convention in the US, held in Baltimore, Maryland every year around August or July. 22,000 attendees, give or take.

LOL! I'd say a lot of American comedies are retarded too, in fact that's what makes them good at times. Just because I say they are retarded doesn't mean I don't like them. I call some of my favorite shows (like the Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy) retarded. It's not that I didn't get or enjoy the humor in Hot Fuzz (I think you're giving me too little credit as American to enjoy or get other kinds of cultural humor), I just felt that it was still a very silly plot. Kind of like the Holy Grail movie but a little more serious. And you do know that retarded is used in more than one context and I'm using it as slang. XD

And yeah, things are a lot more peaceful around here without here. And what Euro said about Otakon. In addition to that, the convention is usually 10,000+ people per year. I can't wait for the anime goodness.
