I managed to cook dinner for 8 people on Saturday without burning down my house or poisoning anyone! I did flood the house with smoke and had to leave the doors open for 3 hours, but that's ok, I still count it a success ;)
I made quiche and cake, (other stuff too, but quiche and cake were the interesting parts).

Dare I ask how you smoked the place out?
One of the things I'm looking forward to most about moving and having my own kitchen again is being able to bake and cook 'properly'. At the moment I tend not to be able to find the time as it detracts from time I spend chatting to people or seeing P. Though me and P had a v successful attempt at cooking a roast dinner together a few weeks ago!

The eggy stuff that you put in the middle of quiches escaped all over the bottom of the oven, but I couldn't turn the oven out to clean it up cos I had too much to cook. So I just let it burn til it could burn no more!
